Many years ago I’ve worked in the High End Fashion Industry and I was absolutely not able to set Healthy Boundaries. I would do anything to fit in an team, be accepted by my colleagues & clients, prove myself all the time that I ‘ was good enough ‘ to do this ‘ dream job.
Yes, I was traveling through Europe, Yes I had a team in Europe and South Africa, Yes I was a multitasker and could almost do anything. Yes I was earning a lot of money and could afford beautiful clothes, expensive trips etc. But deep down I was very unhappy because the person who was managing all of above was not me. The day I realized that was a sad day but turned into one of my best starts for a new future.
I realized that I was a: pleaser and a chameleon. Everything I did was to show ‘ that I was good enough’. That came from a deeper level of 'not feeling good enough'.
12 years ago during a yoga class I was following I felt very strong: I want to become a teacher. ‘ where did this came from? I had no idea , but I knew: this is what I will do. My colloquies where laughing about me and some even mentioned: are you not to old to switch career?
But how low my self esteem was at that moment I grapped all my courage and start following a Yoga Teacher Training. That choice changed my life and slowly I started understand why I failed in setting Healthy Boundaries. The only way to find and solve this is start your Inner Journey.
I could 12 years ago have not imagined how beautiful and fulfilling my life would become. This time I could be MYSELF. I’ve learned to choose from a deeper level, listen to my Inner Voice, be connected with my Inner Self and slowly I started to understand what Self Love means.
I’ve learned that by being myself and setting Healthy Bounderies I can inspire others to do the same. I’ve learned that by being myself and setting Healthy Boundaries my hidden talents could blossom and grow. I’ve learned by being myself and setting Healthy Boundaries my life starts to move from a place of abundance instead of lacking.
After more then 10 years being a yoga teacher, running several Yoga Retreats in Europe and teach children, adults, people with mental and physical disabilities and having more then 5000 hours of teaching experiences I felt it’s time for a new step:
If there’s one very important I’ve learned in the past years then it’s how become a shining and centered woman that lives her SoulPath by simply trust that space of Inner Wisdom.
